Step 2: Connect the Water SupplyRun a dedicated water supply line (12–15 GPM) from your pool equipment to the bowl location. Install a valve to adjust water flow. Step 3: Install the Supply Pipe & TeeRoute the supply pipe through the center of the bowl and attach a tee fitting at the top to evenly distribute water. Step 4: Secure and Seal the BowlPermanently attach the water bowl to the wall or pilaster using an approved adhesive. Seal all contact points to ensure a watertight installation. Step 5: Test the SpillwayTurn on the water and adjust the flow until water gently overflows the spillway, creating a smooth, even cascade.

Some water bowls come equipped with a Smooth Flow Water Fitting, which helps create a more consistent and attractive water flow while simplifying the plumbing connection.
Step 1: Install the Smooth Flow Water FittingRemove the retaining nut from the fitting (note that it uses a reverse thread) and install the fitting into the bowl. Apply a generous bead of silicone inside the fitting to create a watertight seal, then tighten the nut securely. Allow the silicone to fully cure before introducing water. Step 2: Perform a Leak TestAdd a small amount of water to the bowl and inspect the fitting area for leaks. If any leaks are found, apply additional silicone and retest until the bowl is completely watertight. Step 3: Connect the Water Supply LineAttach your water supply line to the 1½-inch female inlet on the smooth flow fitting. Reducers or bushings can be used if your plumbing size differs. Step 4: Secure and Level the Water BowlAttach the bowl to the column or pilaster using a suitable bonding agent such as thin-set, mortar, or cement. Before permanently securing the bowl, verify that it is level and watertight. A level bowl ensures smooth, even water flow and prevents uneven discharge. Step 5: Finish the InstallationOnce everything is secure and leak-free, turn on the water supply and test the flow.
