    The Calanthia Short is the compact member of the Calanthia family: a two tier concrete fountain, 45 inches tall and 28 wide, against the seven-foot proportions of its siblings. Under four feet and under two and a half wide, it fits a border, a patio, or a courtyard corner where the tall Calanthias would not go — and it carries the same cascade through the tiers, just at a shorter drop. Made to order in the USA.

    • Fountain Cover: Get a water-resistant Canvas Cover to protect the fountain from dirt, debris, and weather exposure when not in use. It also helps during winterization by shielding the fountain and preserving its finish and components. Note: The cover fits the fountain only and does not cover the basin below.
      • 300D: The 300 Denier canvas cover is ideal for moderate to high weather
      • 600D: The 600 Denier canvas cover is ideal for moderate to severe weather
    Important: Install on leveled ground

    Important: The location you choose for your fountain should be firm and level, both for safety and the fountain's performance. Fountains with a basin should be installed on a thin layer of sand, approximately ½" to 1" in depth, on top of a concrete pad to reduce the risk of stress cracks to the basin and help with leveling. Pedestal-style fountains should be installed on a solid-level foundation. If needed, a concrete pad can be used as a base to avoid erosion caused by rain, sprinklers or splash. It will also prevent the fountain from becoming unlevel.
