    Fiore Stone Plinth Column Fountain 229-FSQ in Cast Stone

    A square fluted column stands in a four-lobed basin, carrying a deep carved capital bowl at the top. Water fills that bowl and runs down all four faces of the column, so the fall is a thin film over carved stone rather than a drop through air — quiet, and visible along the whole height of the shaft. At 41 inches tall and 41 wide it is as broad as it is high, which suits the center of a small formal garden or a walled courtyard.

    Important: Install on leveled ground

    Important: The location you choose for your fountain should be firm and level, both for safety and the fountain's performance. Fountains with a basin should be installed on a thin layer of sand, approximately ½" to 1" in depth, on top of a concrete pad to reduce the risk of stress cracks to the basin and help with leveling. Pedestal-style fountains should be installed on a solid-level foundation. If needed, a concrete pad can be used as a base to avoid erosion caused by rain, sprinklers or splash. It will also prevent the fountain from becoming unlevel.
