    Sirena Concrete Mermaid Outdoor Garden Fountain - 1676

    The Sirena is a concrete mermaid fountain, sculptural rather than architectural: a carved figure at 60 inches tall over a 45 inch square footprint, with water working down through the tiers around her. At 1,300 pounds it is one of the heaviest pieces Giannini makes at this height, which is what a sculpted form needs in order to hold its detail outdoors. Set it where it will be looked at directly — the end of a path, a walled garden, a courtyard corner — because unlike a plain tiered fountain, this one is the subject rather than the backdrop. Hand-stained in the patina you choose and made to order in the USA.

    Important: Install on leveled ground

    Important: The location you choose for your fountain should be firm and level, both for safety and the fountain's performance. Fountains with a basin should be installed on a thin layer of sand, approximately ½" to 1" in depth, on top of a concrete pad to reduce the risk of stress cracks to the basin and help with leveling. Pedestal-style fountains should be installed on a solid-level foundation. If needed, a concrete pad can be used as a base to avoid erosion caused by rain, sprinklers or splash. It will also prevent the fountain from becoming unlevel.
