    Hotei — the Laughing Buddha — is the figure associated with happiness, luck, prosperity and generosity, and is traditionally placed where visitors will see him on arrival. Two versions are offered and they are genuinely different sculptures, not two sizes of one: the Travelling Hotei at 29 inches, shown with his sack and staff, and the Happy Hotei at 39 inches, standing with arms raised. Buy either alone or both together. Cast in reinforced concrete and hand-stained in the patina you choose. Made to order in the USA.

    Important: Install on leveled ground

    Important: The spot you choose should be firm and level. These pieces are heavy. On soft or uneven ground a piece this weight will settle over time, and settling is what makes it lean or crack. Set it on a solid, level base. A concrete pad works well, and it also stops rain, sprinklers and splash from eroding the ground underneath and pulling the piece out of level.
