    Palladio Curved Bench - 559

    The Palladio is a curved concrete garden bench, 59 inches long, with a vertical ribbed pattern running the length of its base — a classical device that catches raking light and gives the bench something to look at from a distance, which a plain slab does not have. At 35 inches high it has a proper back, so it is a bench to sit in rather than perch on. The curve means several will close into a ring around a fountain or a tree. Cast in GFRC. Made to order in the USA.

    Important: Install on leveled ground

    Important: The spot you choose should be firm and level. These pieces are heavy. On soft or uneven ground a piece this weight will settle over time, and settling is what makes it lean or crack. Set it on a solid, level base. A concrete pad works well, and it also stops rain, sprinklers and splash from eroding the ground underneath and pulling the piece out of level.
