    The Bas-Relief Statues

    This is a set of four bas-relief seasonal panels — Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter — each 29 inches tall and 13 inches wide. A bas-relief is carved shallow and meant to be seen from the front, which makes these the answer where a freestanding statue will not fit: against a wall, in a niche, along a boundary, or flanking a doorway. Four panels also give a wall a rhythm that one piece cannot. Cast in reinforced concrete and hand-stained in the patina you choose, which is what brings a shallow carving forward.       • 300D: The 300 Denier canvas cover is ideal for moderate to high weather
      • 600D: The 600 Denier canvas cover is ideal for moderate to severe weather
    Important: Install on leveled ground

    Important: The spot you choose should be firm and level. These pieces are heavy. On soft or uneven ground a piece this weight will settle over time, and settling is what makes it lean or crack. Set it on a solid, level base. A concrete pad works well, and it also stops rain, sprinklers and splash from eroding the ground underneath and pulling the piece out of level.
